About Little Ol’ Me….
Shannon MacGrogan-Ellis is an artist living and working in Hebron, Connecticut, USA. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with Honors in Illustration from the Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida. Sadly, she never learned to juggle there. (But she DID have a circus contortionist as a figure drawing model…).
Shannon has fallen in love with surface and pattern design and is using her experiences and world travels to explore new opportunities in this field.
Some Inspirations: Early and Mid Century Art and Design from the UK, Children’s Books (old & new), Japanese Wood Block Prints, and Folk Art from anywhere.
